Experience the Cleland Wildlife Park difference
This 35 hectare natural bush setting provides a unique open space environment with very few enclosures. It is home to over 130 species of native animals and is one of only a few places in the world where you can hold a koala. Cleland Wildlife Park is well known for its management and care in the health and wellbeing of the animals.

Explore the quaint little German inspired town of Hahndorf
Hahndorf has so much to offer and you’ll soon see why it is so popular. The main street is lined with boutique shops, eateries and German inspired architecture. Take a wander down the main street and soak in the atmosphere. You will also make a quick stop at Beerenberg, a local strawberry farm in Hahndorf selling the most delectable jams, relishes and sauces.

All children (4-17 years) must be accompanied by a fare paying adult. This tour does not cater to children under 4 years of age.

Cleland entry fee includes the koala ‘close-up’ experience (meet, talk to and photograph a koala – no touching). Additional koala hold experiences are available for an additional fee and must be pre-booked directly through the Wildlife Park
Due to animal welfare regulations, Koala experiences will not be held if temperatures are forecast to be 32 degrees and above at Mount Barker
Tours will not operate on days rated catastrophic for bush fires in Mount Lofty.
Minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years
This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants to run. When minimum numbers are not met, booked customers will have the option to upgrade to a private tour (for an additional fee) or receive a full refund. For guaranteed departures contact Pure SA directly to inquire about private options.
